Terms and Conditions
Terms & conditions for rental of holiday accommodations
Discover Gozo is a trade name of J. Debrincat Limited of San Antonio Triq Cens L-Gharus Ghajnsielem Gozo Malta Co. Reg. C30546 VAT 1199-6633.
On making a reservation / booking you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. When in doubt of any of these conditions, please ask for clarifications.
Cancellation Policy: Refund on deposits is given if a reservation is cancelled prior to 45 days before the arrival date. No refunds after 45 days.
Registration Forms: The Clients / Guests is kindly asked to come to the Reception at San Antonio Guest House between the hours of 9:30am and 12:00pm daily to present the registration form which is available in the accommodation one day after arrival.
Maid Service: In the apartments and houses maid service is done after 7 nights. In the guest house maid service is done every other day.
Linen and Towels: Linen and towels are provided free of charge and for use within the premises only. In the apartments these are changed once a week. In the guest house the towels are changed every other day and linen once a week.
Deposit Policy: A deposit maybe requested at booking stage.
Balance of Bill: The balance is to be paid one day after arrival. Payment to be made at San Antonio Guest House between the hours of 9:30am and 12:00pm daily.
Charges: Fee for wireless Internet: EUR 7 per week (rates may vary). Onsite credit card charges are subject to a 2.5% surcharge
Damage Repair: Clients / Guests are financially responsible for the costs of repairing any damage that occurs while Clients / Guests are occupying the unit. Clients / Guests specifically acknowledge that Discover Gozo has the right to charge Clients / Guests credit card for any such damage.
Reporting Damage: Upon first occupying unit, Clients / Guests are responsible to immediately report any damage found. Failure to do so will make Clients / Guests financially liable to pay for repair of said damage.
Parties: Strictly no parties of any kind on the property without the written consent of Discover Gozo.
Minimum Letting Period: There is a minimum letting period of four nights
Rental Period: Clients / Guests may not shorten there holiday stay, Discover Gozo reserves the right to charge for the full rental period as agree at the time of the reservation / bookings.
Pets: Sorry – no pets allowed (no matter the size).
Smoking: All accommodations are non-smoking.
Arrival: Check in after 3:00pm. In the event that the Clients / Guests arrive later than the stipulated time, clients must advise us beforehand with adequate notice of time of arrival.
Departure: Check out at 10:30am
Number of Clients / Guests: Only those people registered and paying guests with “Discover Gozo” may use the property. The number of Clients / Guests in the property at any point in time of the holiday cannot exceed the maximum number of people agreed at the time of the reservation.
Law and Jurisdiction Clause: In the event of controversies arising from the booking, the Maltese Law Court only can deal with the matter and Maltese law only applies. By agreeing to making a booking / reservation or authorizing the deposit payment stipulated there to be charged to your credit card, there by making the booking, this implies that “Discover Gozo’s” General Terms and Conditions of Letting have been understood and have been accepted without reserve and without exception. If any of the conditions of this contract have become invalid or were invalid or if in this contract there should be a gap, the other conditions cannot be contested.
San Antonio Guest House Xlendi
San Antonio Guesthouse – Xlendi This intimate little Guesthouse which is family run, is near Xlendi Bay and has only 23 bedrooms, either in double or twin beds. All are beautifully furnished in Swedish pine and enjoy a colour TV with satellite reception, are fully air-conditioned for hot or cold climate, and all have an ensuite bathroom.Each room enjoys also its own terrace or balcony with either a pool, garden or a sea view. The guesthouse is fully detached and surrounded by a mature garden. It also boasts of a two sizeable swimming pool for adults as well as a splash-pool for children. The large breakfast-room overlooks the swimming pool area. From the main terrace, one can enjoy the wonderful seascape with craggy coastline and the fascinating sunset. Spare beds and cots available. Zebbug
Zebbug is perched on a hilltop to the north of Gozo, and is very close to the popular sea side resort of Marsalforn. The village is actually built on two adjoining hills, and is said to be the highest village in Gozo above sea level. In 1738 the owner of a nearby field discovered a deposit of onyx and many churches in Malta and Gozo have works of art sculpted from this onyx. The village church is dedicated to Santa Marija, the Assumption; the parish was established on 28th April 1688 and is the oldest parish church consecrated on Gozo.
The name ‘Zebbug’ means olives or olive trees in Maltese. The coat of arms emblem comprises of a silver shield with an olive tree on a slope, and on it a red band with three pointed yellow stars.

Zebbug enjoys fantastic sea and country views, some would say the best in the whole of the Maltese islands! The village is situated some 3.5 km away from Victoria, the capital of Gozo and the nearby resort of Marsalforn is just a short distance away.
Xlendi
Xlendi is situated to the south west of Gozo. The name is probably derived from the word ‘xelandion’, a type of Byzantine vessel which may have anchored in the port. The church here is dedicated to the Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel. The front section of the building dates back to 1868; in 1969 it was enlarged at the rear. Dedication of the church took place in 1974.

Harsien Ghall-ImriekebXlendi falls under Munxar for administrative purposes, though it does have its own motto (see above). A white statue of the apostle Saint Andrew, patron saint of fishermen, stands looking out over the port. You will find here the Xlendi Tower, built in 1650 and perched on the promontory. Always a ‘must’ visit, Xlendi is hugely popular, and rightly so. It is a delightful place; wedged between two cliffs and the stuff of many a photograph ! Come here for the bathing, the stunning scenery, the walking, or just to stop and gaze at the sunsets.
Xewkija
Xewkija lies 3 kms east of Victoria. It’s name is derived from the Maltese word ‘Xewk’, meaning thistles or thorns. It is dominated by a huge rotunda church completed in 1971 having taken around 20 years to build. It was built to rival the Mosta Rotunda in Malta and it succeeds in height, but not in diameter. The dome is larger than St Paul’s Cathedral in London, and can hold a congregation of 3000 – around the entire population of Xewkija. The village was the first parish outside the capital, and it is said to be the first place on Gozo to convert to Christianity.
